Readings

What a piece of student writing does, and why.

Student work, credited to its writer; Callum's annotated reading is added over time.

How a piece gets here

Pieces arrive two ways: from lessons, where a student’s work earns a closer look, and through the monthly Prompt Season — one featured prompt, open to anyone, sent in by a parent. Either way the rule is the same: explicit, revocable consent before anything is published, the writer credited by first name or pseudonym — their choice — and an annotation that reads the piece for what the writing does, never for what it scored.
